Bradford 8th grade volleyball team wins at Covington

COVINGTON – Bradford’s eighth grade volleyball team swept Covington 26-24, 25-14 on Monday.

Bradford’s Rylee Canan had eight points, three aces, five assists and one kill. Abby Fike had five aces, four assists, one kill and one solo block. Maddie Simons had two points, an ace, one kill and one solo block. Zoe Brewer had three points, two aces and a kill. Karissa Weldy had two points, one ace and one kill. Ally Wackler had one point and four kills. Nylani Beireis and Macy Bubeck both had two aces.

The eighth grade Railroaders improved to 5-5 overall and 5-3 in the CCC with the win.

Bradford’s seventh grade volleyball team lost 25-3, 25-12 at Covington.

The Railroaders’ Remi Harleman had three points and an ace. Courtney Riffell had one kill. Lovina Grillot had one point.

Bradford’s seventh graders fell to 1-9 overall and 1-7 in the CCC with the loss.

Bradford will play host to Bethel at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
