3 GWOC football teams ranked in top 5 of the AP state rankings

COLUMBUS – The Greater Western Ohio Conference has teams ranked in the top five in three divisions in this week’s Associated Press’ state football rankings.

Centerville from the GWOC is ranked No. 4 in Division I, Sidney from the GWOC is ranked No. 4 in Division II, and Trotwood-Madison from the GWOC is ranked No. 1 in Division III.

The Midwest Athletic Conference also has teams ranked in three divisions. Anna from the MAC is ranked No. 6 in Division V, Marion Local from the MAC is ranked No. 1 in Division VI, Coldwater from the MAC is ranked No. 6 in Division VI, St. Henry from the MAC is ranked No. 9 in Division VI, and Delphos St. John’s from the MAC is ranked No. 12 in Division VII.

No Darke County teams have been ranked in this season’s state polls.
