Greenville boys soccer team loses to Alter in an OHSAA tournament game


KETTERING – The Greenville boys soccer team lost 8-0 to Archbishop Alter in its Ohio High School Athletic Association sectional tournament opener on Saturday.

With the loss Greenville’s season ended with a 1-14-2 record. The Green Wave beat West Carrollton and had ties against Trotwood-Madison and Sidney.

The loss also ended the high school soccer careers of Greenville seniors Seth Conway and Tani Mancillas, both of whom were four-year varsity players.
