Bradford boys basketball team wins season opener vs. Middletown Christian


BRADFORD – The Bradford boys basketball team won its season opener on Friday, defeating Middletown Christian 67-62.

Parker Smith led Bradford with 26 points, three assists, four steals and two rebounds in the victory. Dialaquan Millhouse had 23 points, five assists, five steals and five rebounds. Josh Phillips had 9 points, 11 rebounds and two steals.

Jake Barga had 4 points, two assists, one steal and one rebound. Johnny Fike had three points, six rebounds and four steals. Clay Layman had 2 points and one steal.

The win was the first varsity victory for new Bradford coach Dante Dunston.

Bradford will travel to Fairlawn on Saturday.
