CASSTOWN – The Versailles girls basketball team beat Miami East 61-37 on Saturday.

Versailles led 22-9 through one quarter and led 36-23 at halftime. The Tigers increased their lead to 47-29 in the third quarter on their way to a 24-point win.

Kami McEldowney led Versailles with 13 points in the win. Also for the Lady Tigers, Danielle Winner scored 12 points, Lindsey Winner scored 9, Caitlin McEldowney scored 8, Elizabeth Ording scored 6, Ellen Peters scored 5, Danielle Kunk scored 3, Hailey McEldowney scored 3, Kelsey Custenborder scored 2.

Versailles improved to 7-0 with the win. The Tigers will play host to New Bremen on Thursday.
