Mississinawa Valley girls basketball team loses at Bethel

TIPP CITY – The Mississinawa Valley girls basketball team lost 53-35 to Bethel in a Cross County Conference game on Thursday night.

Bethel took a 12-4 first quarter lead and extended its lead to 32-10 by halftime. MV cut its deficit to 38-22 in the third quarter before losing 53-35.

Mikayla Stump led Mississinawa Valley with 13 points in the loss. Also for the Lady Hawks, Kelsie Hunt scored nine points and pulled down 10 rebounds, Olivia Murphy scored five points, Leslie Dirksen scored two, Sidnie Hunt scored two, Madison Stachler scored one, and Kylie Willis scored one.

Mississinawa Valley won the junior varsity game 41-40.
