Greenville boys basketball team loses at Lebanon

LEBANON – The Greenville boys basketball team lost 59-52 to Greater Western Ohio Conference foe Lebanon on Tuesday night.

The score was tied 12-12 through one quarter Tuesday night, but Lebanon took a 27-24 lead into halftime. After the teams played evenly in the third quarter, Lebanon outscored Greenville 19-15 in the fourth quarter to win by seven points.

Isaiah Gable led Greenville with a game-high 24 points in the loss.

Chidon Jones led Lebanon with 24 points while Kaleb Frankenburg scored 22, Cory Frye scored nine, and Jared Blair scored four.

Greenville fell to 3-2 on the season with Tuesday’s loss while Lebanon improved to 5-3.

The Green Wave now are off until Jan. 2 when they play host to Arcanum and Greenville celebrates its newest Hall of Fame inductees.
