Remembering the fallen

The Thirsty Turtle Loungue at Turtle Creek Golf Course has a table set with five places to remember the five service members killed by a shooter in Chattanooga, Tennessee, July 16. Four service members died immediately and another died two days later of his injuries. The victims were Gunnery Sgt. Thomas J. Sullivan, 40, Staff Sgt. David A. Wyatt, 35, Sgt. Carson A. Holmquist, 25, and Lance Cpl. Squire K. “Skip” Wells, 21. Mark Middlecoff at Turtle Creek, who is a veteran himself, said the table was set that same day for the murdered service men. “When you feel helpless in a situation, you feel like honoring them is the best thing you can do,” he said.
