Sex offenses, vehicular homicide among indictments

GREENVILLE — A Versailles man was indicted by a Darke County Grand Jury on 12 counts of gross sexual imposition, and a Union City, Indiana, man is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, among several indictments handed down recently, according to a release by Darke County Prosecutor R. Kelly Ormsby’s office.

Alan R. Wuebker, of Versailles, is charged with 12 county of gross sexual imposition for allegedly having sexual conduct with someone, not his spouse, and having compelled her to submit by force or threat of force, a Tier I sex offense. The offenses are fourth-degree felonies.

The charges on the indictment span from November 2013 through October 2014 and are based on an investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

Chad E. Bradburn, Union City, Indiana, was indicted on two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, tampering with evidence, two counts of operating a motor vehicle under the influence and an assured clear distance ahead violation, following an investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

Bradburn is accused of striking and killing a bystander and the accident victim at the scene of a rollover accident Feb. 8 on Kniseley Road.

Two Darke County men were indicted for three counts of car theft, as well as breaking and entering.

Kyle D. Raymond, of Greenville, and Rusty L. Curtner, of Hollansburg, both are charged with three counts of grand theft of a motor vehicle, fourth-degree felonies, for allegedly taking a blue 1979 Ford Pinto, a brown 1978 Ford Pinto and a white 1985 Buick Century, all belonging to Harold C. Moore. They also were charged with breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony, for trespassing to commit the thefts. The incidents reportedly occurred April 15 of this year.

A Gettysburg man was indicted for allegedly having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl on March 11 of this year. Shane A. Sargent, of Gettysburg, was charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth-degree felony.

-Lee E. Ware Sr., of Union City, Ohio, possession of heroin and possession of cocaine, Greenville Police Department;

-Jamie D. Straszheim, Union City, Ohio, possession of heroin, Greenville Police Department;

-Michael L. Fisher Jr., of Fort Recovery, three counts of receiving stolen property and three counts of certificate of title to acompany transfer, Darke County Sheriff’s Office;

-Jason L. Fisher, of Greenville, nonsupport of dependents, Darke County Child Support Enforcement Agency;

-Tyler D. Warner, of Greenville, theft of drugs, Greenville Police Department;

-Katrina M. Cheadle, of Greenville, three counts trafficking in heroin, Greenville Police Department and Darke County Sheriff’s Office;

-William D. Clarkson, Union City, Indiana, forgery and possession of heroin, Union City Ohio Police Department;

-Joseph A. Brown, of Greenville, forgery, Union City Ohio Police Department;

-Jessica M. Hunt, of Union City, Ohio, forgery, Union City Ohio Police Department;

-Rory A. Shuff, of Greenville, obstructing justice, Darke County Sheriff’s Office;

-Anthony M. Spires, of Pitsburg, theft from a person or persons in a protected class and six counts of forgery, Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification;

-Kayla L. Money, of Winchester, Indiana, possession of heroin, Darke County Sheriff’s Office; and

-Holly D. Mowery, of Greenville, burglary and petty theft, Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
