GREENVILLE – A registered sex offender with convictions for sexual contact with a 12-year-old girl and raping a disabled man is facing more charges for child pornography.

Scotty Joe Reineke, 31, of Bradford, was arrested in April at Ross County Correctional on these new charges as he was being released from prison on the earlier convictions.

Reineke was arraigned this week on four counts of disseminating matter harmful to a juvenile, a fourth-degree felony, for incidents July 29, 2014; four counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, a second-degree felony and Tier II sex offense, for incidents July 6, 2014, as well as another count of disseminating for that date; and three counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor Aug. 1, 2014. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The counts are related to incidents that allegedly occurred while Reineke was on parole.

He faces a maximum of 42 1/2 year in prison on the new charges, $95,000 in fines and sex offender registeration.

He is incarcerated in Darke County jail on $100,000 bond.
