Stillwater to host car show


DAYTON — The Stillwater Center Families and Friends Inc. 13th Annual Car Show will take place on July 19 at Stillwater Center, 8100 N. Main St., Dayton, 2 miles south of I-75 on State Route 48, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $10 per vehicle. Dash plaques will go to the first 175 vehicles.

Trophy categories are Best Truck, Best Interior, Best Original, Best Street Machines, Best Engines, Best Street Rod, Best Unfinished and Director’s Choice.

Music will be provided by Karaoke Konnections. Food will be available for breakfast and lunch.

Hundreds of classic vehicles will be on display. The day also includes prizes, giveaways, food, music and a 50/50 raffle. Raffles and door prizes are at 2 p.m.

Stillwater Center is a home for Montgomery County children and adults who have the most severe and profound developmental disabilities, are physically challenged and/or have significant medical needs.

Proceeds from the car show go to Stillwater Center Families and Friends Inc. for the purchase of residents’ needs.
