Warning sirens to be tested

0

DARKE COUNTY – On Monday, the Darke County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Communications Center will be conducting the regularly scheduled monthly test of the outdoor weather warning sirens at noon.

Citizens may hear the sirens start and stop several times instead of hearing the one continual siren that they usually hear during the monthly testing.

The Emergency Communications Center is testing this system to ensure that all of the sirens and the radio system are functioning correctly and in concert with each other.

The testing may be postponed until next month if severe weather is imminent.
