NEW MADISON — This month’s Fourth Tuesdays event at New Madison Public Library will cover the care and disposal of American flags. The event will be Oct. 27 at 6:30 p.m.

“It’s a Grand Old Flag, but How Do I Take Care of It?” will feature Skip Hoover from the American Legion Post 245, who will teach ways to display, preserve and properly dispose of the American flag.

Those attending also are invited to bring their old flags to the event for proper disposal during the annual Veteran’s Day program.

The library is located at 142 S. Main St., New Madison.
