Calling Around Bradford:‘Tis the season to be thankful

0

It’s that time of year where most people reflect on the things they are thankful for. Unfortunately, it has become easy for us to focus on the negative things in life instead of truly taking a look at all the blessings we do have. If we turn our focus on our blessings and being grateful for them, we will find ourselves feeling lighter and even happier. Our time together is precious. If we choose to lift each other up instead of tearing each other down, so much more can be accomplished.

If you have driven by the ball fields lately, you will see the start of a new concession area. All that has been accomplished by the hard work of volunteers for the Athletic Boosters. I hope seeing such amazing things happen encourages everyone to step up and take a part in our community. Wonderful things can happen even with just a donation of a couple hours of your time.

How many of you enjoyed the new Christmas lighting display in Iddings Park last year? Sue Vickroy is hoping to expand that park this year! Vickroy is hoping to raise more money or to have more lawn ornaments, decorations and extension cords donated this year. One item definitely on her wish list is light up deer. If you have any that you would like to donate, she would love to hear from you. Please call Sue at (937) 448-2844.
