GREENVILLE – Darke County Chamber of Commerce brought together community and business leaders Jan. 19 for a ribbon-cutting marking the move of two local businesses into one location.

Liberty Tax Service and Associates Staffing are now sharing a single space in a more visible and accessible location, at 1324 Wagner Ave. in Greenville.

Liberty Tax Service was started in Canada in 1997 by CEO John Hewitt and the following year had five locations in the United States. There currently are more than 4,300 Liberty Tax offices operating in the U.S. and Canada. The company provides personal and business tax preparation service.

Associates Staffing was established in 2007 and has nine locations, in Greenville, Troy and Tipp City with corporate headquarters in Piqua. The company serves Miami Valley businesses with temporary employees, temp-to-hire, direct hire and payroll services.
