Bradford baseball team rallies to beat Houston

BRADFORD – The Bradford baseball team rallied for five runs in the fifth inning to defeat Houston 5-3 on Monday.

Houston scored all three of its runs in the top half of the first inning, and Bradford scored all five of its runs in the sixth.

Bradford had nine hits and no errors in the game while Houston had five hits and one error.

Andy Branson led Bradford as he went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Parker Smith and Mason Justice both went 2-for-4, scored a run and drove in a run.

Clay Layman was 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. Bryson Canan went 1-for-3. Dylan Cassel and Walker Branson both walked and scored a run.

Andy Branson pitched the complete game, allowing three runs on five hits, seven walks and nine strikeouts.
