ROSSBURG — The annual Rossburg Fireman’s Ice Cream Social is fast approaching and will be held Saturday at the firehouse, beginning at 4 p.m.

Proceeds from the festival, which is scheduled to end at 9 p.m., benefit the Rossburg Volunteer Fire Department.

Featured will be Rocky’s Barbecue Chicken, along with homemade ice cream, sandwiches, pies and cakes. There is also a drive-thru on the north side of the fire department.

There will also be a bouncy house, kiddie tractor pull [with sign-up at 4 p.m.], games, bingo, Paul Mueller’s Kettle Corn, a barrel train, raffle, and a pie auction at 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m. at the family-oriented festival.

Renee Bulcher Seibert will be entertaining this year, and on hand will be fire dogs Rocko and Rage, the Sheriff’s K-9 dog and a petting zoo by the Ansonia FFA.
