GREENVILLE – Franklin Monroe beat Miami East 176-192 in a Cross County Conference boys golf match on Tuesday morning at Turtle Creek Golf Course.

Franklin Monroe’s Bryce Filbrun earned match medalist honors by shooting a 39 for the nine hole round despite the wet weather conditions. Also for the Jets, Noah Koffer shot a 43, Hunter Rich shot a 46, Luke Booher shot a 48, Derek Lusher shot a 51, and Nolan Archer shot a 54.

Walker Henley and Dylan Martinez led Miami East as they both shot a 43. Also for the Vikings, Zac Johnson shot a 50, Coop Ellerman shot a 56, Tyler Fetters shot a 57, and Jack Runner shot a 62.

Franklin Monroe will return to action against Newton at 9 a.m. Thursday at Turtle Creek.
