VERSAILLES – Versailles’ boys golf team beat Marion Local 163-202 in a Midwest Athletic Conference match on Monday at Stillwater Valley Golf Club.

Versailles’ Nicholas Litten-Stonebraker led all golfers with a one-over-par 36 for the nine-hole round. Also for the Tigers, Kyle Cotner shot a 41, Connor VanSkyock shot a 42, Alex Groff shot a 44, Isaac Ruhenkamp shot a 45, and Preston Platfoot shot a 51.

Collin Fleck led Marion Local with a 42. Also for the Flyers, Seth Kelch shot a 49, Dylan Homan shot a 54, Jack Bohman shot a 57, Tim Knapshaefer shot a 57, and Garrett Pleiman shot a 68.

Versailles improved to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the MAC with the win.

Versailles’ junior varsity boys golf team also beat Marion Local on Monday at Stillwater, winning 196-245.

Kyle Dapore led Versailles’ junior varsity with a round of 45, Austin Pleiman shot a 46, Will Eversole shot a 52, Alec Ahrens shot a 53, Alex Keiser shot a 54, Ethan Kremer shot a 57, and Brayden Robinson shot a 61.

Nick Bruns led Marion’s junior varsity with a 52, Isaac Jacobs shot a 63, Bradey Ungrubi shot a 63, Damon Moeller shot a 67, and Brennen Schlecty shot a 69.

Versailles’ junior varsity improved to 2-1 with the victory.
