MINSTER – The Versailles boys golf team lost by two strokes to Fort Loramie, 166-168, on Thursday at Arrowhead Golf Club.
Kyle Cotner and Nicholas Litten-Stonebraker led Versailles as they both shot a 39 for the nine-hole round. Also for the Tigers, Alex Groff shot a 44, Isaac Ruhenkamp shot a 46, Connor VanSkyock shot a 46, and Preston Platfoot shot a 47.
Brad Gottemoeller led Fort Loramie with an even-par 36, Craig Eilerman shot a 40, Eli Rosengarden shot a 44, Mitchell Puthoff shot a 46, Shea Swick shot a 48, and Zach Pleiman shot a 52.
Versailles fell to 9-2 with the loss.
The Versailles junior varsity also lost to Fort Loramie, falling 183-187. Will Eversole led the Tiger reserves with a 42, Austin Pleiman shot a 46, Ethan Kremer shot a 49, Alex Keiser shot a 50, Alec Ahrens shot a 54, Kyle Dapore shot a 54, and Brayden Robinson shot a 54.
Versailles’ junior varsity fell to 9-3 with the loss.
