Greenville girls swim team wins meet at Eaton

EATON – The Greenville girls swim team won a four-team meet at Eaton on Wednesday.

The Greenville girls won the meet with 131 points, Felicity-Franklin finished second with 92, Eaton was third with 91, and Tri-Village finished fourth with 16.

In the boys portion of the meet Greenville finished second with 136 points. Eaton won the boys meet with 161 points, Felicity-Franklin was third with 124, and Tri-Village finished fourth with 16.

Isabella Gable won the girls 100 freestyle in 54.86, breaking her own school record in the event. Gable also won the girls 500 freestyle in 5:29.59.

Cassey Bolyard won the girls 200 freestyle in 2:42.96.

Seth Conway won the boys 200 freestyle with a time of 2:06.75. Conway won the boys 100 breaststroke in 1:10.3 while teammate Shane Barga finished third in the event with a time of 1:22.22.

Jacob Subler won the boys 100 backstroke in a time of 1:14.91.

Greenville’s girls 400 freestyle relay team of Maggie Bankson, Isabel Elliott, Cassey Bolyard and Isabella Gable was victorious with a time of 4:36.96.

Pablo Badell finished second in the boys 200 individual medley with a time of 2:26.04.

Maggie Bankson finished second in the girls 200 individual medley in 2:29.81. She also finished second in the girls 100 butterfly in 1:08.68.

Bolyard finished second in the girls 100 backstroke with a time of 1:22.61.

Isabel Elliott finished second in the girls 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:30.19.

Josh Smith finished second in the boys 50 freestyle with a time of 24.66. He also finished second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.74.

Greenville’s boys 200 medley relay team of Jacob Subler, Pablo Badell, Seth Conway and Josh Smith finished second in 1:57.36.

The Green Wave’s boys 200 freestyle relay team of Seth Conway, Shane Barga, Jacob Subler and Josh Smith finished second with a time of 1:46.14.
