

RUSSIA – Franklin Monroe’s Emilee Morris threw a no-hitter and continued to break school records this past week.
At Russia on Saturday Morris threw a no-hitter in a 1-0 victory. She faced 21 batters and walked two in the sixth inning, recording 12 strikeouts in the process. At the plate Morris was 2-for-4 with a double.
Chloe Peters scored the game’s lone run as she hit a solo home run in the top half of the first inning.
Morris now holds Franklin Monroe records in career strikeouts, strikeouts in a season, career wins and ERA. She has 37 career wins.
