VERSAILLES – The Versailles FFA participated in the 10 gallons of milk challenge on Sept. 11.

The purpose of this challenge is to help dairy farmers as well as needy families or community service organizations.

The challenge starts with buying 10 gallons of milk from the grocery store to help “move the milk” off the shelves and aid dairy farmers in selling their product. The milk is then taken to local families who are in need or charities to be dispersed for free.

The Versailles FFA chapter donated its milk to the Versailles Council of Churches and challenge others to participate in the program.

FFA members who participated in delivering the milk included Abby Petitjean, Laura Wuebker and Autumn Petitjean.
