The Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society has some spring updates – Please note that their April and May Open hours have changed – They will not be open on the first Saturday, April 6 but instead open on April 13 for the Arcanum Alumni. In May they will be open for Old Fashioned Days Mary 18 and 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. instead of May 4. Coming in June – the first Coffee and Conversation speaker will be our Fire Chief, Kurt Troutwine. This year AWTHS is celebrating 15 years and they will be sharing “Down Memory Lane.” Enjoy and visit them in May and September for special activities.

The Arcanum High School cheerleaders are hosting a 5K Victory Run on May 27. This year they will be donating a portion of our proceeds from the race to a family in our community. Their 4-year-old son was diagnosed with leukemia. This year our shirts will be superhero themed in honor of our favorite little superhero, Zane. This is a good opportunity for us to give back to a family in our community, and teaching my young ladies about giving back and thinking of others before themselves. Continue to pray for the Rhodehamel family! Runners and walkers are welcome! Even furry friends. Come out for a fun filled day, and dress up like your favorite superhero!
