Military aircraft displays back at Vectren Dayton Air Show

DAYTON — The Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger takes off this weekend, June 18-19, at the Dayton International Airport. Along with 13 thrilling flying attractions there will be over 20 military aircraft on static display at this year’s show, up from just two last year.

Military aircraft on display will be the U.S. Air Force F-35 Lightning II, U.S. Air Force F-35 Lightning II, U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III, U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker, U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon, U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon, U.S. Navy P-8 Poseidon, U.S. Navy P-3 Orion, U.S. Navy E-2 Hawkeye, U.S. Navy F-18F Super Hornet, U.S. Navy F-18F Super Hornet, U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler, U.S. Navy F-18E Super Hornet, U.S. Navy T-45 Goshawk, U.S. Navy T-45 Goshawk, U.S. Navy C-2 Greyhound, U.S. Navy MH-60 Nighthawk, U.S. Marine Corps EA-6B Prowler, U.S. Army AH-64D Apache, U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk, U.S. Coast Guard HH-65 Dolphin, U.S. Coast Guard HC-144 Ocean Sentry and NASA S-3B Viking.

In addition to military aircraft, the show will have over 40 civilian aircraft on static display including the oldest flying DC-3 Flagship Detroit, a FedEx Boeing-757 and for the first time a PSA RJ-700 airliner. There will also be vintage, Warbirds, Ultralights, drone aircraft, interactive displays and more.

For the first time this year, customers will enjoy new print-at-home or print-to- mobile options available for website purchases.
