OSU to hold Agriculture For Women workshop

TROY — Ohio State University will be holding a workshop for women involved in agriculture, on November 3 from 6 – 9 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 53 S. Norwich Road, Troy, Ohio.

Do you have a desire to be an Ag-vocate? Being involved in agriculture in the 21st century is more challenging than ever. Join us and other area women involved in agriculture to discuss strategies and ways to handle “hot” situations and become equipped to tell our story.

Agenda

6 p.m. – Mix and Mingle. Hors d’oeuvres served.

6:30 p.m. – Navigating Conversations When Emotions are Strong. – Emily Adams

7 p.m. – Telling Your Story through Media – Laura Sutherly

7:30 p.m. Break and dessert

7:45 p.m. – Promoting Agriculture – Jess Campbell

8:15 p.m.- Discussion, wrap-up

8:45 p.m. – Adjourn

Registration for deadline must be postmarked by October 21.
