Public invited to watch training

GREENVILLE — The ALLSARK9’s Search and Rescue Team would like to invite the public to come and watch a training session at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 at Tecumseh Point in Greenville.

“You can follow along behind the flanker and the K9 handler and learn how a trailing dog works,” said a spokesperson. “There will also be training in Human Remains Detection and area search training. You will walk away with a lot of knowledge in how these dogs work and what they are capable of doing.”

The search and rescue team is a 501(c) 3 organization made up of volunteers and their dogs.

“We are funded by donations from businesses and individuals,” the spokesperson said. “You can go to krogers.com community rewards and sign up to donate to ALLSARK9’s Inc. 86157 or you may mail donations to ALLSARK9’s, 9310 N. Alcony-Conover Road, Conover, OH 45317.
