Greenville Public Library hosting ‘Rest and Recovery’ Lunch and Learn

GREENVILLE — The Greenville Public Library’s monthly “Lunch and Learn” is Wednesday, July 5, at 12:30 p.m. The topic is “The Importance of Rest and Recovery” presented by Jordan Francis, Wellness Director at Wayne Healthcare. Lunch and Learn is coordinated by Warren Richards as part of the Library’s Wellness Program.

Francis explains “If you exercise regularly, there are things you can do to ensure you’re getting the most out of your routine. Adequate rest, preventive maintenance, and therapy may all play a role in the recovery process. Get the most out of your exercise, prevent injury, and address issues quickly with proper rest and recovery.”

He will bring one of the Wayne Healthcare Physical Therapists along to help demonstrate some of the ways they help people rehab. There will be a healthful lunch provided by Brenda’s Beanery prior to his talk with a cost of $5. The public is invited. Please call 937-548-3915 to make a reservation.
