DARKE COUNTY — Shop Small and support local community businesses Saturday, November 25.
A few small businesses in the Arcanum, Lewisburg and New Madison area have put together a huge Shop Small Event. This event will include close to 20 small area businesses. Those who attend are eligible to win gift baskets full of goodies from the local businesses, and a Full Riding Golf Pass at Beechwood Golf Course, according to a representative.
To be eligible to win, visit any of the participating businesses Saturday, pick up a stamp card and map available at any four partner businesses, and turn in a completed card into any location. Participating businesses include:
Beechwood Golf Course, Country Lane Treasures, Happy Feet, Kennedy’s Vineyard, Blue Thistle Market, Rubypurl Chocolates, Yankee Clover Mercantile, Beanery on Broadway, Arcanum Historical Society’s Christmas Bazaar and Heather B. Leaves.
In addition, Country Lane Treasures is offering 20 percent off in stock goods, and have a drawing for a handmade bench; Happy Fee will offer specials, including: $5 off a purchase of $50 or more, and $10 off a purchase of $100; Beechwood is offering big golf sales on equipment, golf balls, apparel and more;. Rubypurl will have some goodies and coffee to warm folks up; Yankee Clover Mercantile has great decorating pieces. People may also visit The Blue Thistle Market and the Historical Society’s craft bazar in Arcanum and stop at Kennedy Vineyards for a wine tasting or to purchase wine. Heather B. Leaves in New Madison, set up at Happy Feet, offers one-of-a-kind art gift ideas.
Beechwood Golf Course and Happy Feet have opened their doors for other small businesses to set up booths for more shopping options. LuLaRoe and Heather B. Leaves will be set up at Happy Feet, and the following will be at Beechwood Golf Course from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 1476 State Route 503, Arcanum: LuLaRoe clothing, crafts, knitted gifts, wooden signs and decorations, Norwex cleaning supplies, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Longaberger, Bear Cub Metals, Scentsy, Love Me Knots, Mother Hubbard’s and many more.
