Greenville BPW Club hosts Christmas meeting

GREENVILLE – The Greenville Business & Professional Women’s Club (BPW) will host their monthly dinner meeting, Thursday, Dec. 10 at the Brethren Retirement Community’s Private Dining Room at 6:30 p.m.

There will be no formal program, however, the needs of the Darke County Women’s Shelter will be presented and members are asked to bring donations for the shelter to the meeting. Items requested are Tide w/ bleach, Downy, diapers of all sizes, and garbage bags. Donations will also be accepted for a special Darke County family to make their Christmas brighter. Members will wrap the gifts at the meeting.

This will also be the last chance to purchase ‘super raffle’ tickets for a chance to win one of four prizes: an 11 quart KitchenAid Food Processor, a Diamond “Shimmer” Necklace from Wieland’s Jewelers, a Spa Mani, Pedi and Facial from Mae’s Beauty Salon & Spa, or reservations for two people at a 2016 “Thrill of the Grill” Event at the Winery at Versailles.

Winners will be drawn at the meeting. Tickets are $2 each or a book of 6 for $10 and are also available from any BPW Club member or by contacting Susan Shields at 937-548-2592 or by email at [email protected] or Debbie Niekamp at 419-305-2178 or by email at [email protected].

All proceeds are used to grant scholarships to the young women of Darke County. The Greenville BPW Club’s mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information.
