GREENVILLE – The Great Darke County Fair in Greenville is always a colorful affair, but be prepared for a display that even a peacock would envy when the Community Blood Center (CBC) “T-Shirt Day” returns to the fair Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 1 – 7 p.m.

Everyone wearing a CBC t-shirt to the fair can stop by the CBC tent near Gate 2 and be entered in the drawings for multiple door prizes, including top prize KitchenAid small countertop appliances. Visitors must be age 16 and older to enter the drawings, and only those wearing a CBC t-shirt will be eligible.

This year the CBC tent will also feature the “LAB” mobile classroom. The LAB is on the move year-round visiting schools and community events. It’s a chance for students and visitors of all ages to enter a hands-on learning atmosphere full of amazing illustrations of how the heart, blood, and circulatory system work. The LAB will be open to visitors during CBC T-shirt Day from 1- 5 p.m.

CBC Darke County Account Representative Dana Puterbaugh has again set the goal of having 200 donors wearing CBC colors visit the CBC tent for a photo on T-shirt Day, and to see which community will have the most representatives.
