Nikki D and the Sisters of Thunder to perform at Fridays on Prouty Concert Series

TROY – Award winning Nikki D and the Sisters of Thunder will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday for the downtown Fridays on Prouty concert series.

They have a hard-driving rock-influenced gospel-based sound that will drive fans home without asking any questions. A supreme highlight of the show is the surprising abandon of the great Nikki D’s steel guitar. The sisters have promised “You Make Me Want to Shout,” “Change Gonna Come” and “Still the One” but do not come with any preconceived ideas for what these Sisters of Thunder will accomplish on stage.

Fridays on Prouty is a free concert series and is a collaboration of the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center and Troy Main Street. This series is made possible by support of the citizens of Troy, the City of Troy, The Troy Foundation, Dayton City Paper, Kettering Health Network, Premier Health/UVMC, Alvetro Orthodontics and CoriGraphics.

Nikki D and the Sisters begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday on Prouty Plaza in downtown Troy.
