VERSAILLES — At a recent meeting of the Versailles Village Council, discussed the expansion of the village pool’s parking lot and approved a lease agreement.

The council discussed the swimming pool parking lot expansion and decided to begin the bid process in July, having voted to accept the proposed design.

A two-year lease agreement was accepted with James Spitzer for village-owned property at 147 N. Center St.

In other business, council approved a recommendation for the addition of a Class A CDL as a requirement for for future street and electric department positions. Council tabled discussion of adding a comp time program to the personnel and policy manual.

The salary for Marie Rose as income tax/EMS billing and collections administrator was approved.

Annexation of portions of Baker Road was discussed, but council noted not to pursue it.
