DARKE COUNTY – Darke County deputies are investigating a rollover accident that sent the driver to the hospital early Thursday morning.

Darke County Deputies, along with New Madison Fire Department and Tri-Village Rescue, were dispatched Feb. 25 at 5:19 a.m. to the scene of a single-vehicle injury accident at the intersection of New Madison-Coletown Road and Hollansburg-Arcanum Road.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Randy Hines, 32, of New Madison, lost control of his 1995 Chevrolet truck and overturned it near the intersection. Hines was transported to Wayne HealthCare by rescue squad for minor injuries sustained in the accident.

Rain turned to snow in the late evening hours Tuesday, causing slightly hazardous conditions in some areas as snow continued steadily into the morning. Road conditions are believed to be a factor in this accident.
