Sanders in Toledo, Kasich near Dayton in run-up to primary

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – Presidential candidates are scheduling numerous appearances in Ohio ahead of the winner-take-all primary next week.

On Friday, Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is scheduled to speak in Toledo, while GOP candidate and Ohio Gov. John Kasich (KAY’-sik) plans a campaign stop in Moraine in suburban Dayton. Kasich also will participate in an MSNBC town-hall event in Lima, which airs Friday night.

Kasich is scheduled to appear Saturday in Sharonville in suburban Cincinnati. His GOP opponent Donald Trump also is expected to visit Cincinnati Sunday.

Ohio’s primary is considered a must-win for Kasich to stay in the race.

On Saturday, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton is expected to be in Youngstown.
