DARKE COUNTY – Officials from Second National Bank (SNB) said Greenville Police detectives have made significant progress in the investigation of Thursday morning’s threat against Second National Bank associates.

“They reported to bank leaders that the threat has been resolved, and bank associates and clients can continue their routine activities with confidence,” said bank officials. “All Second National Bank associates are grateful for the diligent, professional work of the Greenville Police Department and for the support of the communities we serve.”

All branch offices were closed Thursday due to a threat made to bank employees in the morning via phone. The offices reopened on Friday. SNB has branches in Greenville, Arcanum, Versailles, Celina and Fort Recovery.
