DARKE COUNTY — Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, recognizing the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners.
More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year.
In support of local small and medium businesses, the United States Postal Service is taking the opportunity during Small Business Week to celebrate the impact of entrepreneurs, small business owners and others with free “Grow Your Business Day” open house events. Postal Service managers will be on hand to educate small and medium businesses on the many ways the Postal Service can help small businesses grow.
Free events are being held on select dates and times at the following locations in Darke County:
Ansonia — 112 N Main St, Thursday, May 5, 2016, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Bradford — 210 N Miami Ave, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Greenville — 101 E Main St, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Versailles — 6 E Ward St, Thursday, May 5, 2016, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
