First responders survey the scene of an accident Wednesday afternoon in the 2100 block of Gordon-Landis Road south of Arcanum, Ohio. The driver of the 2012 Hyundai Accent, Cole Gaubey of Gordon, Ohio, said he swerved to avoid a collision with a vehicle approaching in the wrong lane of traffic. There were no other occupants in the vehicle and Gaubey did not suffer any serious injuries. The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
