DARKE COUNTY — Darke County Highways Superintendent Shane Coby reports that the following county roads, either in portion or in their entirety, are closed due to high water:

Beamsville-Union City Road

Zumbrum Road

Coletown-Lightsville Road

Ellis Road

Ohio-Indiana State Line Road

Horatio-Harris Creek Road, near Bradford

Area residents posting on the Daily Advocate’s Facebook page added information on additional county roads which may be hazardous due to high water. These include:

Kester-Byard Road

Duncan Road

Washington Road

Childrens Home-Bradford Road

Brock-Cosmos Road

Detling Road

Drivers should not travel on roads covered with water. If encountering water on roads, drivers should turn around and find an alternate route.
