DARKE COUNTY — Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash late Friday morning east of Greenville.
On July 14 at 11:47 a.m., Darke County Deputies along with Arcanum Rescue and Gettysburg Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle injury accident at the intersection of State Route 571 and Arcanum-Bears Mill Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed a 2014 Chevy Equinox, driven by James Neitzelt, 68, of Arcanum, was traveling southbound on Arcanum-Bears Mill Road when he failed to yield at the intersection and drove into the path of a 2004 Jeep Liberty, driven by Sandra Goff, 60, of Greenville, which was traveling eastbound on State Route 571. Both vehicles came to rest along the roadway.
Kerby Goff, 64, of Greenville, who was a front seat passenger in Mrs. Goff’s vehicle, was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Arcanum Rescue with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident is being investigated by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
