2 injured in accident

GREENVILLE —Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries from car accident Tuesday afternoon.

On July 18, 2017 at 12:20 p.m. Darke County Deputies along with Greenville Township Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of U.S. Route 127 and Greenville Celina Road.

The preliminary investigation revealed a 2013 Ford box truck, driven by Austin Law, 19, of Tipp City, was traveling north on Greenville Celina Road and stopped at the intersection of U.S. Route 127. The 2013 Ford entered the intersection to travel north on U.S. Route 127. The 2013 Ford was struck by a southbound 2012 Cadillac SUV, driven by Darren Fourman, 54, of Arcanum.

Both drivers were transported to Wayne HealthCare by Greenville Rescue. A front seat passenger in the 2012 Cadillac was treated at the scene.

This accident remains under investigation by The Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
