ARCANUM – The Andersons, Inc. contributed $25,000 to help fund the Arcanum-Butler Local School District’s agricultural education and community multi-purpose building.

Superintendent John Stephens expressed his appreciation for the donation.

“On behalf of the Arcanum-Butler Local School District, I would like to thank The Andersons, Inc. and the The Anderson Foundation for their generous support for our project,” Stephens said. “Their commitment to local communities and students is phenomenal. With their recent donation we are closing in on our $1 million goal to help fund the project, with over $927,000 raised to date.”

The Anderson Foundation was founded in 1949 by Harold and Margaret Anderson and their family as a reflection of their commitment to community and society as a whole. This private foundation was initially funded by family members and its privately-held corporation to support worthwhile community endeavors. Today, The Anderson Foundation continues to support a wide variety of organizations that touch nearly every corner of the local community and spans the nation and the world.
