GREENVILLE – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shelby & Darke County will hold two open houses in conjunction with local holiday events.

The first open house will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday at its Sidney office located at 121 E. North St. This open house will be held during the Winter Wonderland Parade, which is organized by Sidney Alive. The Sidney office is located along the parade route.

The second open house will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday at its Greenville office located at 205 E. Fourth St. This open house will be held prior to the Hometown Holiday Horse Parade, which is organized by Main Street Greenville. The Greenville office is located one block from the parade route.

Agency staff will be on hand during the open houses to offer information regarding Big Brothers Big Sisters’ programs, volunteer opportunities, the importance of mentoring the community’s youth, along with donation and sponsorship opportunities for upcoming fundraiser events. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available for those who stop by inquiring about Big Brothers Big Sisters.
