Arcanum Faith United Methodist collects shoe boxes

ARCANUM – Faith United Methodist Church participated in the Samaritan’s Purse Project, Operation Christmas Child.

It is the world’s largest Christmas project. Shoe boxes are packed with lots of love, prayers and special “fun” gifts for children in more than 100 countries suffering from natural disasters, war, terrorism, disease, famine and poverty. The shoe box gifts will be sent by sea containers, trucks, trains, planes, boats, camels and dog sleds to reach children around the world.

Faith United Methodist Church is a Mission-mined church located at 101 E. South St., Arcanum. Adult Sunday School is at 9 a.m. with church following at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
