NEW MADISON – Dorothy Shively, president of Unit #245 American Legion Auxiliary, recently kicked off the Flag Fund Drive by presenting a check to Commander Francis Grisez, of Post #245, to help finance the replacement of tattered and torn “Old Glories” for the Parade of Flags located on the main streets of the village of New Madison from May (Memorial Day) to November (Veterans Day).

Any civic minded citizen who would care to support this effort can send a check marked Flag Fund Post #245 American Legion, PO Box 127, New Madison, Ohio 45346 or stop by the post Thursday through Saturday, after 5 p.m.
