UNION CITY – The Union City Lions Club met on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the Union City Community Center. Following a meal served by D’s Restaurant, the 24 members and three guests listened to Darby Livingston from Tree Hill Farms.

Tree Hill Farms is a local business that specializes in ‘Farm to Table’ food. Livingston said that their business model focuses on ‘Real Food Simple’ and wants to reach people within 100 miles of Union City. Most of their business now is filling online orders for high-quality beef, pork, chicken and other meats. People can place an order online and pick it up at one of several pick-up locations in the area. Tree Hill Farms opened Roots in Union City, at 208 N. Howard St., and serves food during events at Artisan Park and also holds special ticketed food events at that location. They are also getting into the catering business and are exploring the possibility of Grab-n-Go meals that are fully prepared and would be picked up at Roots.

Their desire to get real high-quality food on plates makes this a great Union City Business. Check out Tree Hill Farms at https://treehillfarms.com/ and on Facebook by searching for Tree Hill Farms, or Roots by Tree Hill Farms.
