Trick-or-Treat carnival

ANSONIA – What’s more fun that Trick or Treat? Trick or Treat with a carnival in the middle. This year, the Ansonia Community Center and the Ansonia United Methodist Church are excited to hold their first Treat Street on Oct. 27 from 2-4 p.m. Pearl Street in Ansonia will be closed for the event so that the groups can provide food, candy, games, slime, door prizes for kids and adults and more. Treat Street is free and open to everyone.

“This is something we have done in other communities before moving to Ansonia,” said Roger Emerson, Pastor of Ansonia UMC. “It’s a great way for our church members to serve the families in our community. The church has hosted Halloweenies – giving out free hot dogs and popcorn during Trick or Treat – for years. This will just take that up a notch. We are so pleased to be working with the Ansonia Community Center on this event.”
