GREENVILLE — State of the Heart Hospice announced two new staff members who have recently joined the team.

State of the Heart, with offices in Greenville, Portland and Coldwater, cares for patients and families in eastern Indiana and western Ohio who are confronting a life limiting illness.

Working out of the Coldwater office, Tammy Grieshop joins the agency as a hospice aide. She has been a licensed STNA for six years and has a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration in long term care. In her free time, Grieshop enjoys watching movies, crafts and spending time with her husband, Christopher, and children, Eathen, Faith, Sage and Kayden.

State of the Heart also welcomes a new Director of Business Development, Laura Retter. When asked what prompted her to work at State of the Heart, Retter said, “I was drawn to the mission and purpose of the agency. I have dreamt of using my professional background to serve my community and a cause close to my heart.”

Retter brings with her more than 10 years of marketing and business development experience for nonprofits and media publishers. Retter enjoys running , reading, travel, being outdoors and cooking. She lives in Winchester, Indiana, with her husband, Brendan.
