Yoga studio to have open house

ARCANUM — Arcanum is now home to Synergy Yoga, a yoga studio offering three class options during the week. Lois Bunger, owner of Synergy Yoga, opened the studio in July 2016.

To show her appreciation to those who have been attending classes, along with a desire for more people to discover this local resource, she is hosting an Open House at the studio, located at 109 W. George Street in Arcanum (second floor of the Old Smith Building), on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Schedule your visit to coincide with a 15 minute yoga session/demonstration at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m.; or plan to be on hand to participate in a group meditation at 3 p.m,” she said.

There will be refreshments and a drawing for door prizes, which includes a special three session pass for classes or Balance Energy sessions. Additionally, each visitor will receive a small gift of appreciation just for stopping by and saying hello!

Bunger will be on hand to answer questions regarding the current classes and on the benefits of participating in a yoga practice. A native of Darke County and a Registered Yoga Teacher since 2012, she has been teaching classes in the Greenville area for the past four years.

“Yoga is a great practice for all ages and fitness levels. It is a very individual practice, in that all poses can be modified to assist those with physical limitations. When we come together as a community to practice yoga in a class setting, it generates tremendous energy,” she said.
