-9:51 p.m.: theft. Colin Bradburn and his son Taylan Bradburn were cited for midemeanor theft after a shoplifting complaint from Walmart.

Jan. 12

-8:16 p.m.: warrant. Shawn Cooper was arrested on an active warrant out of Montgomery County for failure to appear on a traffic offense. He was transferred to the custody of the Huber Heights Police Department then incarcerated at Montgomery County Jail on $2,500 bond.

Accidents

-Beverly Fourman, 81, of Arcanum, was cited for a stop-sign violation following a three-vehicle collision Jan. 8 at 6:41 p.m. at Arcanum Bear’s Mill Road and State Route 49.

According to the report from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, Fourman was southbound on Arcanum-Bear’s Mill Road and pulled from the stop sign, striking the southeast bound vehicle driven by Jodi Cates, 44, of Arcanum, and then proceeding to strike the northbound vehicle driven by Jamie Dohme, 35, of Greenville. All three drivers and Fourman’s passenger, Janet Fourman, 79, of Arcanum, were treated for possible injuries on the scene by Arcanum Rescue.

All three vehicles sustained disabling damage.

-A Coldwater woman was transported for injuries in a rollover crash, according to a report from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the crash report, James N. Ontrop, 68, of Coldwater, was southbound on US 127 near the Darke-Mercer County Line Jan. 11 at 9:13 a.m. when he lost control on the ice-covered road and went off the road, striking a ditch and rolling over. He was pulling a camper.

Joyce A. Ontrop, 68, of Coldwater, was a passenger in the vehicle and was transported by Ansonia Rescue to Mercer Health in Coldwater with non-incapacitating injuries.

-Brad D. Lutz, 22, of Greenville, was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation after rear-ending another vehicle Jan. 12 at 9:40 a.m.

According to the police report, both vehicles were northbound on Wagner Avenue when Mark A. Trent, 46, of Greenville, stopped at the intersection with Russ Road and the Lutz vehicle struck the rear of the Trent vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

-Kimberly Dillman, 53, of Greenville, was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation after rear-ending a vehicle Jan. 12 at 5:24 p.m.

Richard L. Grim, 74, was traveling on Walnut and stopped at the intersection at Main when his vehicle was struck from behind. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
